I have a program that is generating playlists for vlc (simple m3u files) using smb paths. The playlist ideally needs to be usable on both windows and mac. On the pc side it works great. I seemed to have got it working... I had to make the calls outside of the function I used to play the video. Not sure why that worked, but it did.

I need to create on screen text for the program I am making... from the best I can tell I should be using the marquee commands for this but it doesn't seem to be working. I get no errors, just nothing gets displayed. Does anyone have any working code for this? or know of another way I can create som...
