VLC does block power when stop. When paused, yes, not stopepd.

I'd like to add that I find it especially strange when VLC prevents screensaver/suspend even when it isn't the foreground window on the screen...

I upgraded Ubuntu to get 2.2.2, and after brief testing it seems fixed on at least one stream that was glitching badly on 2.2.1. I'll post back if I have any more issues. Thanks.
