It's really great news that VLC for iOS supports AC-3 codec again! Kudos to Felix and the VLC team for all the effort!

Do you plan to make this feature available in a MobileVLCKit CocoaPod update too?

Hi Felix, just uploaded two files Sample_720p.ts and Sample_1080i.ts that demonstrate the issue. 720p TS (DVB transport stream) support is broken since MobileVLCKit 2016-05-11 nightly build. (Maybe because of libvlc update 2.7.4 to 2.8.1 ?) The 2016-05-05 nightly build support 720p but not 1080i TS....
