I am using VLC 2.2.3 and Windows 10. I figured out what the problem was in my system not seeing the files with UPNP. I have also installed VMWARE player and found that disabling the VMWARE network adapters solved the problem. Now I can play all the movies and music files on my NAS (DLNA) with VLC 2....
