Want to jump in here - have searched the forums for hours - havent found anyone whose successfully solved the peoblem of playing MKVs or M2TS files with TrueHD or Atmos audio...there must be a way for VLC to play these right?

I have VLC installed on many PCs ranging from Windows 7 to Win 10 and not one computer will play True HD or Atmos videos. VLC claims they support TrueHD which is the same thing as Atmos but there is no audio. How do you get this to work? I can play Atmos files through MPC-hC 32bit just fine
