I'm using a very old encoder (windows media encoder) on our streaming PC, setup as a PULL service, then I installed VLC on our Icecast VPS server, using mp3 format. Streaming PC (Windows media encoder with mmsh) ===> VPC server (VLC streaming transformed to mp3 using Icecast) The solution works fine...

anyway, i found a solution by myself
step #1: install icecast, add a relay
step #2: open vlc, tools>preferrence>show setting all>streaming out>audio out>shoutcast check mp3 checkbox
step #3 open vlc, add icecast, choose audio-mp3

now you can play the stream in ios safari
