Do you know how long can I pause it for?

And what program is best for this?

Is it possible for vlc to play all the files in a folder and then continuously play new files I add to the folder? I have a new video file added each hour, and each file is 1 hour in length so I just want VLC to keep playing the new files.

Hi, I would like to setup one computer to capture video from my cable service, and then stream those signals to few computers around the house. I think that videolan is capable of this task. However, I am wondering if it is possible to switch channel from those remote computers?
