Nowadays Xojo supports 64bit, in both debugmode as in a build app. Have you been able to get your app running yet?
I have been playing around with ffmpeg in a shell. But I want to try the VLC libraries. Are you using Declares?

It would be nice to be able to resize the transport control when VLC is in full screen mode. This way the "Timeline" can be made wider. This will make it easier to scroll through the time-position as the slider's time has a higher resolution. https://1816media.com/forums/VLC_large_transpor...

It would be nice to see a column in the playlist where I can see how much of a video I have seen. That makes it easier to select the right video in a list to continue watching.
Additionally, maybe a color coding of videos I watched entirely as (greyed out, or something) would be nice.
