Re: A52 (AC3) Codec not supported

Come on guys the answer is pretty obvious. You have to convert the file into a format that doesn't have A52 (AC3) codec. The best software I've seen that is supported on both Mac and PC is Handbrake. It is completely free and it already has presets for each device and it will usually convert it int...

Re: A52 (AC3) Codec not supported

Guys seriously just freaking use Opus audio codec when you re-encode your stuff, that+265 make really good perf per byte. Opus is as good at 64 bit as 128b of other codecs.. Re: Google drive and srt files

Just hardcode the subs on your computer, or find another file with them but not needing srt. You're picking a file from a server in VLC, it's not going to look or even know about any srt files lol.

Re: Streaming through SMB

I've looked on my Local Network tab before and saw my computer and tried it but it asked for Ip also and My guess is you need a specific companion app or something That or maybe just go on your pc and do ipconfig then copy your local Ip (ex. 192.168.0.12) Try that. I'm not at home but I'll try when ...

Re: Help with streaming, NAS and AppleTV

Set it up in the Local Network area and you'll be good, just make sure everything on the NAS side is good. You'll see the servers you can add in that tab and if you still need help probably look at some settings in your NAS controls
