What should I try?

I just upgraded from Win7 to Win10 (64 bit), and re-installed the latest version of VLC (2.2.2). For some reason, the "Continue Playback" function no longer works. It was working fine on Win7. I know where the option is, and have tried setting to "Ask" or "Always", but ...
