Does anybody know how to access Video image adjustment for Blissta skin (or any skin)?

It seems the only way to do so is in unskinned mode (i.e. in default player) as depicted here:

The control marked Equalizer in the minimum interface opens the video GUI I don't know DJ, the control marked Equalizer? I don't see that. This is not working for me either. I have made the changes described in this thread. However after closing VLC and reopening I get the same old (and frankly rather bland-looking) VLC original skin. If I understand correctly, the directions for changing the look of the VLC player to the much more app...

I've found I can only adjust the video image (hue, saturation, etc.) with the default skin. When I am playing a video with any other skins I been unable to open the Extended GUI (i.e. Ctrl-G does nothing). Is there a way around this? It would be nice to be able to make these adjustments in any skin ...
