well I installed the 0.8.6 version (I hate installing new versions) and it seems a bit better, tho the color is still off some but the skipping while still there seems at least less and smoother.... guess I will just play with the FFmpeg settings some to bet the best I can. I know it wont be perfect...

I am having problems playing WMV files in VLC 0.8.5. Other MPG/AVI files play perfect, with ~75% CPU, but WMV files play at 100% (which itself is probably the problem). When playing WMV I get apparently frame loss on the video, perfect audio tho, and the color is off. I have to adjust the HUE way up...

so, does anyone actually have any working remote control under full-screen mode???

I have seen similar posts here where even keyboard control is lost under full-screen mode... perhaps something in the settings needs to be set to enable control -period- under the full-screen mode???
