The port number can be changed as any other settings (need to restart VLC).

Removing the password is purposedly not possible.

Can you showme how to change the port as any other settings?

Dear all, I'm trying to change the port for the lua interface, but I can't. The only option to change it is ussing the option "--http-port=XXXX" at the start of command line. Also, I want to deactivate the password for lua interface to run the JVLCG15 plugin, but I can't, can someone help ...

I'm using vlc 2.2.1 on Windows 10 and I'm trying to get VLC to use my HD7700. If I leave "Automatic" the the CPU still does the work while watching a movie, the GPU does nothing at all. From the dropdown I can only choose the following. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22466810/2015-11...
