I have installed Opensuse 42.1 i installed either VLC 2.2.1 When i open a file it opens always 2 windows: one windows with the controls and showing the vlc logo, and the video opened in another window where nothings can be done...o options aviable, no controls etc.... in a full video all as normal. ...
