The VLC binaries provided on our website are the exact same versions available through the iOS App Store, with the same features and limitations. To enable further functionalities, the only way is to get the source code and compile it yourself. Yes, this iOS 8.4 issue is resolved in current version...

Hi, i am currently using a 2.3.0 version of the app on my iphone and ipad. Sort of need to use these, as almost 100% of the movies are coded with AC3 audio, and latest versions from AppStore do not support AC3. If i download an IPA from VLC mirror ftp, do newer versions have AC3 support in there? Or...
