The issue you describe with the mini player is resolved for 2.6.2. It does not occur on iOS 8 or later, which is why we didn't catch it during our beta tests.

Indeed, no problem now on my iOS 6 iPad... thank you for this new version 2.6.2... and sorry to still be on iOS 6!

With version 2.6.1, the initial display of my video library, either in single or triple column works fine... initially, trying to play a video in portrait mode *does* display the mini-player. But I go to landscape mode the mini-player disappears and there's no way to stop / play this or any subseque...
