Ok, seems VLC has a few and unusual ways of accessing the equalizer. BattyUSA gave a good answer and I also " found" that you could just load a song, then swipe from bottom to top and the equalizer will be in the drop down menu from the 3 dots in the upper right section of the page. Anyone...

Just installed latest VLC and can't find/ access the equalizer. Go to 3 dots, hold for a sec and "more options" appears, but when I tik that, it doesn't open any menu. [VLC FOR ANDROID] Really need this for music is very flat. THANX. RICK

I seem to be having a similar problem with VLC. I've tried 3 different installs and cannot get VLC to open/play. I've installed Snap,all codecs, installed restricted extras....nothing. I have the current 3.0.1-4, but am unable to get it to work. Could use some GOOD advice. (Ubuntu 17.10 Xfce) Rick

Are you saying that track-by-track ripping is the only way w/MSWin 7? I can assure you I have ripped entire CD's in FLAC w/VLC before, I cannot recall if it was within MSWin but I do know I could within Linux.

I cant get VLC to rip FLAC within Win7. I have tried many times with 2 different comps. I cant say if it will rip in other formats.
