Hello JB, I noticed that the issue with the supermario3.wmv was fixed with the latest nightly build http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win64/vlc-2.2.0-20160312-0303/ . But now the problem turned around again! Now the problem occurs again with the wmv´s which were affected with the release of 2.2.0....

Could you please tell me the ticket number? Then I can see when the issue is fixed and download the corresponding build.

This is strange because I can reproduce the issue with the wmv I posted above on any windows system. Physical Machines, Virtual Machines, Windows 7, Windows 8, 32-Bit, 64-Bit... The stuttering is not extreme, but the difference is clearly visible if you compare 2.1.5 (or older) and 2.2.0 (or newer)....

sudieken, did you set the verbosity level in message log to 1 or 2 ? The warnings are only visible if verbosity level is 1 or 2.

Could you please try the example wmv I posted above ? With this you should see the warnings when using VLC 2.2.0 or newer.

I am wondering why there is no response/confirmation from a developer.

We can´t do more than report this issue and provide as much information as possible... and hope that you fix it.
