VLC --file-logging always spawns command window as well as writing to the vlc-debug.txt log file.

Is there a way when using --file-logging to stop any DOS command window appearing,

I've tried -I dummy --dummy-quiet, still no joy.

VLC is 0.86c

I'm trying to do stop VLC 0.86a-Win32 from opening a second dos window, when using the RC interface. is this possible ?

I still want to use the RC interface, but from the same dos window, the command was executed from.

Is this possbile.

I didn't realise that the plugins directory had to be under directory where the compiled binary was run from (I saw the --plugins path in your code) Any way. I've already tried the authors suggestion of making the parent of the control, the form. No joy, just lots of exception messages.
