I have a APPLE SSD SM0256F solid-state drive (SSD) as the primary drive, which is more than enough. Also the HD videos with more data play fine.

When I play SD videos (video_TS) from the hard drive with VLC Player, the film is stuttering/lagging often during scene changes. Unfortunately, the lagging is about 1 sec and significant. HD videos from .mkv work fine and the "problematic" videos run fine in DVD Player. I checked the web, ...
