Seems the issue was related to window shadows option. Not sure why.

I seem to have a peculiar issue - edges of windows flicker, when on top of the stopped video player. They don't do it on top of the interface, but only on the actual video itself. There is a temporary fix for this - you can press right mouse button on a task bar, select settings and check to hide the taskbar in desktop mode but there's an annoying thin line which remains anyway and it's not very convenient.
