Actually it gives the same result whether hardware decoding is on Automatic, DXVA or Disabled. They are all 3 comparable to what I had reported in 03/04 when disabling hardware acceleration. I guess the only difference is that it falls back properly to software decoding when hardware decoding does n...

Thanks for the suggestion. I switched Input/Codec / Hardware-accelerated decoding to disabled and it is better: - 1080 30p videos played fine and smooth - 1080 60p video played with lots of breaks and greys pictures. I guess that's to be expected to some extent if the CPU is too slow for that. - 4K ...
