I have reinstalled and most have gone away. The only odd thing is that the columns for playlists sometimes collapse and I have to move the lines to see them.

If I stored information in meta data, is it possible to create playlists from them? Would vlc search for files that had the information and then play them? Would Boolean operators work?

I just noticed that your replies online have a date of 7/2/2012.

I downloaded the new version (I did not delete the old one). I reset the preferences. Files still show up twice even though there is only one copy.
