checked it out and the box isn't checked. also when I reopen vlc media player it says it just crashed. a few seconds later it says was unable to send ftp something or other. when I restart vlc media player it is a very small box in the center of the screen and when I maximize it, go to media to play...

vlc Media Player closes after movie is over. It just started doing it. I uninstalled, deleted cache etc and reinstalled. It still does it. Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. If there is a fix or a setting , please be detailed on how to fix it as I am not that computer literate...

I know this is an easy fix but I cant figure it out. When a video is finished playing, it just begins to repeat itself when its over. How do I make it so the player stops and shows the cone. It used to work fine until my cat walked across the keyboard and messed something up. Thank you for the help!
