If you are watching a stream from YouTube for example, and pause the video, and then resume it, it will usually stop after a few seconds and go back to the Playlist. Would like to see VLC support opening multiple windows/files at the same time. This would be the same as QuickTime works—you can open as many video or audio files as you like, and then just play the one you want. Very useful for when you have to pause something to review something else.

Love VLC and have used it for years on OS X. Would really like to see Media Library folders automatically update their contents. Right now, the only way to update is to remove and add the folder again which is annoying. If automating this is a pain, I'd opt for a simple UI button or contextual menu ...
