The current version (3.0.16) can't play short audio files, stopping before playing the whole fiile.

From googling it seems to keep coming back between versions...

It does record in the same format, but the recorded video will stutter severely.

I "forced" the Audio device output (DirectX), now Volume control is responsive. I don't know if this is the real "trick", or only causality

Heya.

Not sure if its a bug or a new setting but adjusting volume with the scroll wheel is very slow, only accepting input once every second.
Given how precise the delay is (once a second) I'm guessing it's a setting somewhere, how can I disable it?

Using 64bit.

Watching a long running series, all episodes are .mkv files with defined chapters for the intro, recap, eyecatch and ending. Theyre all named the same for each episode but the length varies.
Anyway to set VLC to automatically skip chapters based on name? (or #)?
