I sometimes come across videos which are not only not in the aspect ratio of my screen (16:9), but also with black bars (usually to fit that same 16:9 aspect ratio), which is really annoying as setting both the proper crop and aspect ratio to the video content aspect ratio and your screen ratio resp...

it doesnt have to be pirated videos. I mean DVDs are not in a very high resolution and and for some things there are no blurays (or just not in your region, where we get to piracy again, serioously who unvented those dumb region codes?)
is there some nice way to remove the pixelation on those?
