I wrote the reply below because it worked for awhile but no longer. For some reason, I am getting the same error message again now on all the newly listed youtube files. Why does a new file usually work and then stop working with "VLC is unable to open the MRL" even though it already opene...

I'm just trying to play youtube videos in vlc player I get the unable to play mrl error message on some videos.. The posted link to update youtube script is complicated.
