sounds like a great idea to me... especially because i have kids who are learning to read

The ease and control with which you can add effects to a video far surpasses any free video editors- if you could simply save them to a new file VLC would be a powerful yet simple player/editor- the best on the market. :o From reading through the forums i know many others would like to see this feat...
