Re: VLC crash when selecting XVideo

Hmm.

I'll have to see if it's on Lubuntu's end with XVideo.

Re: Extreme artifacts/loading time watching online videos

Just want to confirm that the latest VLC for Android update has fixed the issue. I was able to access the website, select the video to watch, and scroll through without any artifacts or buffer issues. I also tested it by viewing an 720 HD video that I recorded and also had no artifact or audio delay...

Re: Extreme artifacts/loading time watching online videos

Alrighty, with the latest android update, I was able to view an episode. However, I ran into an issue with my ISP and the network speed was causing some bad artifacts due to the extremely slow download speeds. I'm going to try again and see if the artifacts have truly left cause my speeds are back t...

Re: Extreme artifacts/loading time watching online videos

3000 also took about 30+ seconds before the first few seconds started. Then it froze and closed. This wasn't an issue in the previous version, but I did see some artifacts every once and a while. All settings had been at default at the time.

Re: Extreme artifacts/loading time watching online videos

Okay. I'll try it now. I did 1000 and 2000 last night.

I got maybe 2 seconds to load and play before it force closed/crashed.

Re: [Request] Add Tapatalk support to the forums

Sorry, we try to limit the numbers of plugins.
So there won't be any Tapatalk integration in the future? :(

When you say limit the number of plugins, is there a mobile app that already has access to the forums?

Re: ALSA lib pcm.c:7339:(snd_pcm_recover) overrun occurred

VLC 2.0.5 is not supported anymore. I believe what Remi might have meant was that v2.0.5 is no longer supported. This may be due to the fact that 2.0.5 is an old version and the current is 2.1.5 for Linux. Like you, I'm a Linux user as well (Lubuntu). So you may want to head on over the the Linux f...

Re: Extreme artifacts/loading time watching online videos

Have you tried increasing the network caching setting?
Right now it's set to "Default"/blank. What would be a good step-value to use when increasing the Net Cache?

[Solved] Extreme artifacts/loading time online videos

Watching videos online has become impossible. While accessing the mobile version of a site, on the previous version of VLS, I was able to load and watch videos. Rarely would I see any graphic artifacts or delays in loading. With the current version, the video loads the first second, displays the ima...
