After playing around a bit further, I noticed that if I switch the audio channels from 2 to 1, everything stops working. Just wondering if anyone ever did figure out how to save the video and audio stream from an Axis camera using VLC.

I can view and hear the stream just fine, however when I try to save the stream I lose the audio.
