Hi Kevinspage, I hope that you don't mind, but after failing to get an answer on here I had a look around and found a program called BUTT (Broadcast Using This Tool) it worked perfectly and will auto connect to the icecast server on startup. Really easy to use.

I am having exactly the same issue, starting the stream from a batch file. Not had any help from the forum.

Really need help setting up stream from Batch File

Hi I need to stream an audio feed to an icecast server. If I do it manually through the GUI it works fine. Clients can connect and listen in. My Batch file is not. It seems to be working on the "Server", but the clients can not connect. Contents of Batch File @Echo Off Echo - Starting VLC ...

I have upgraded to VLC 2.1.5 and I still have the issue. If I set the stream up manually it works just fine.

It will still not stream from the batch file.
