This is the same issue discussed in https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=118928. Is it possible to merge the threads?

I just want to confirm this behaviour. D-link DIR-655, Fw 1.31EU iOS 7.1.1 (iPad model MD788KS/A) VLC for iOS 2.3.0 No idea what's happening, the router's logs say nothing to me.
