The 90-second DVD sample is now uploaded as well. The file title is Rosemary_sample.mp4 and the clip has Finnish subs.

Hello Felix, I just uploaded an 88-second clip of Goodbye Lenin, with Finnish subs. The filename is GoodbyeLenin_sample.mp4. This was taken from a recording of the film's Finnish TV broadcast, so the subs were originally DVB, then .sup. I'll upload a clip from a DVD rip in a little while, so you can...

Thanks for picking this up! I can take a 60-sec sample from a dvd rip and a tv broadcast recording. Would that do?

Internal here too, applies to mp4s created from my dvds and tv recordings. In the latter case the it's a originally a DVB subtitle which in the conversion process first becomes a .sup file and then finally Handbrake does with it whatever it does when it makes the mp4.

Hi, I'm in Finland and can confirm the subtitle problem. It has come up with this latest update, no problems before. VLC finds the sub tracks normally and lets me choose which one I want to use, but displays none of these. I have tried with a few movies, including ones I have succesfully watched on ...
