+1, the current option is IMO fully non-sense... limit showing 100% but still allowing to set higher values... really? there should exist an option instead to completely limit volume to the configured value (no matter using mouse wheel, hotkeys, menu options, ...)

I'm having same problem accessing Foscam FI9831W camera rstp stream since I did update to vlc 2.2.3, no problem at all with 2.2.2 (I did just re-test it again to be sure). Also I did test latest nightly builds, and problem is also present on vlc-2.2.0-20160501-0202 but no problem at all with vlc-3.0...
