Could anyone please write me a command line that will open a video file in VLC with small screen with controls on laptop screen and fullscreen video with no controls on second matter. Would be much appreciated.

Playing A Video DVD From Folder

How should I copy a video DVD to my hard drive for playing in VLC? Should I just copy over the AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS files from the disk to my hard drive, or "rip" the dvd, or create an ISO from the dvd? Do I need any special software for doing any of the above? Thank you
