Yes, that works. I was doing the cloning in the Tools>Preferences>Video>Clone... and of course that doesn't work.

huh,..it could be me not doing it right..do you mind posting the steps that you're able to get the clone to work?

Hi, I've downloaded VLC 1.2.0 pre1-20111107-0103 Twoflower and tested the clone video. It still not cloning the video for me. I've set the Verbosity to 2 (debug) and here are the errors:
main error: Failed to create video filter2 'clone'
main error: Failed to add filter 'clone'

where are u getting VLC 1.2.0? I got the 1.1.11 from the main page which I thought it's the lastest version. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Yes, the error:

Yes, I am talking about "change the audio track " and yes, it can be done by right click. But I think it's really better and more convenient for users if it's part of the GUI on top. Because I think it's easy access if it's right there instead of right clicking and navigate to it. Thanks
