Good idea is to Javascript playlists via html interface + vlc web plugin + vlcplaylists add-on for Mozilla by Helga.

Hi, I am looking for easy solution to implement scheduled play feature in playlists. Or implement time pauses/ breaks into playlist files to stop VLC from playing for xxx secs/ a minute and start playing another audio file from the playlist. Or how to implement audio VLC wait/stop/start/play format ...

ok, Vlc context menu started to work
for wav files in the following directory
file:///c:/WINDOWS/Media/

but really need examples of VLC Command Line Interface scripts
just to broadcast preselected, specified audio files at given time, date.
