I think I made a mistake. The problem was in the subtitle files I was adding I think. I got one that worked.

With almost every movie I watch lately the subtitles are in my own language instead of just the foreign language. Why would they do this and is there a setting in Windows VLC that allows me to control this? Who wants subtitles blocking their view if you're not deaf? (Yes I realize they are handy on ...

Using latest VLC 3.0.16 on 64bit Win7. I'm trying to watch "A Perfect Enemy" and with every version I've tried the subtitles seem to be unavailable. Other videos have working subtitles. Is there something that can block a subtitle file from being loaded? I've never encountered this problem...
