Why isn't that version called 3.0.17 or so? If the same version number is used for the fixed version as it is for the unfixed one, the fix cannot be recognized as such. So, rolling back to 3.0.15 is pointless and I need 3.0.12 again.
I just tried to roll back to VLC 3.0.12, but it doesn't work, because of too many dependency issues.
I even tried to use a DEB of 3.0.12, but it failed for the same reason.

If it is a bug (which I was assuming already, anyways), will there be a fixed VLC version in the near future? I already tried the roll back, but I failed. There must definitely be some reason, why this sound does work with VLC 3.0.12 but not with VLC 3.0.16.
