I can convert with VLC an RTSP stream on a server to an MJPEG stream reachable via HTTP. Chrome and Firefox can natively play an MJPEG stream but Internet Explorer can't. I can't use solutions like Cambozola or others. Is there a way via VLC to serve a JPEG snapshot via HTTP from an RTSP stream? So ...

Is there a command line option to download the entire file from a HTTP URL and then play it?
I know this question is little strange for VLC but it's related to work.
