Very unfortunate. Being able to save a stream to file, based on VLM scheduler parameters, while continuing to record would solve the issues I describe earlier in this thread.

I'd just put mux=ts, ahead of dst= and call it good.

Not sure what purpose a puase command would do you in the config.vlm. The time the pause occurred would have to happen at a predetermined time making it useless. You could issue VLC a pause command via the http or telnet interface at the time of your choosing.

Might try adding the word "append" ahead of "control" in all 14 instances.

After running this a week tweaking things a bit I don't have any over-runs anymore. However, I'm having about 30% of the sites stop recording early. Could it be caching needs to be more liberally set for multiple instances to co-exist? Does anyone know the default values for these if not specified in the script? --file-caching specifies caching for local files, --network-caching specifies caching for network resources, --live-caching specifies c...
