I clicked on the button to download an update. A warning popped up that the update would not install automatically, that I would have to click on the file to update manually. But I cannot find the downloaded file. It is not in downloads. Where is it hiding?

I have the same problem on my Levova Duet Chromebook. When I try to follow the above advice, I open settings, apps and VLC, I do not see any options for storage. What am I missing?

Many mp4 videos are playing back double -- two somewhat squished pictures on the screen.

The codec is Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Resolution: 640x360
Frame rate: 29.970029
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV

I have windows 8.1 and vlc 2.1.2

Any ideas?
