How do I enable post processing by default. I have looked in the menu but I can not find it. Everytime I check the option in the right click menu, it unchecks itself as soon as the next video plays....

Any more ideas? Will this be fixed in the future? I have every episode of futurama and the simpsons in FLV and it would be nice if there was a player that can handle them.

It's no joke, you uninstall VLC. Then when you reinstall you should have an option for shell integration or something like that. Uncheck it.

I play ISO images directly through VLC all the time and they work fine. It's nice to not have to mount them first.

Nope, the latest nightly still can't do any tracking.

VLC has some odd behavior with windows... 1. When the always on top mode is selected and then the player is set to fullscreen, an empty badge box remains on top of the fullscreen video that has to minimized. 2. I'm trying to play some flv files that I downloaded off the internet. I can seek with the online player. But when I try to play it off the hard drive, VLC has no ability to seek. Well I have 0.8.5 for windows and your advice doesn't seem to work. Double clicking on the timer does nothing and I can not find any "playback" menu. Can you please advise?

I would like the ability to type in a time stamp and have the DVD or video file skip straight there. Like tying in 13:56 would bring you to that point on the DVD movie.
