I am hoping someone can help me capture audio playing in realtime in one computer and stream it over the network. Now I can choose as an input my soundcards name in VLC. When I accept that the next page comes up and shows the name with no yellow triangle. I can press the play button and the duration...

I am wondering if what I am trying to do is possible with VLC?

I don't know how to get the streaming of the audio into VLC that NUENDO is playing in real time so it can be streamed over the LAN. Any advice that would clarify steps I should take would be welcome.

I have 2 OSX computers on a lan. I have succesfully streamed a mp3 file using UDP with VLC. My goal is to steam the audio playing in real time out of my audio editing program NUENDO, inside of one computer, to the 2nd. computer.
