No. Time expansion is strftime() syntax for current time. $-things are metadata expansions. Ok...so it's the metadata expansions that are broken now, in version 2.x of VLC. No GUI in nightly builds ?

I was trying out the latest Win 64 nightly build, but vlc.exe is a command line exe with no GUI. Anyway to get the GUI to work with the nightly builds ?
