Hello, At present in my old build of VLC I see a long filename in the status bar. Because the filename is too long, the status bar focuses on the begining of the filename. So i see something like this. [C:\Documents and Settings\now3d\Desktop\Music\Nirva] So I dont actually see what filename is play...

Just looking at the status bar in this screenshot, has it been removed?

I really like the fact that it shows the filename, so would be great if it could be kept, or at least controled by the preferences.

sounds like there isnt an open codec in ffmpeg yet, and pending implementation.

Hi, it seems odd that you support many patent encumbered, and licence required formats which are not strictly legal, and then you do not support 3GP audio... which is the same situation i expect.

Or is there another reason 3GP audio is not supported?
