Hi, when use the add to vlc media player list R-click is use, mainly folders, because that's the only reason I would use it for myself, to play audio, mainly mp3 format, the hotkeys don't respond, like play/pause, and if I close and restart vlc, and try and it just ends up crashing, but vlc works fi...

no, now the issue seems to gone away, but just everyonce in awhile the global hotkeys dont work

well my chipset is : C55+MCP55P; a.k.a. nForce 650i SLI & nForce 570 SLI so i went to the nvidia site d/led the nForce 650i SLI drivers, ill get back to ya

i try the dummy with audio video plays fine doesn't freeze but of course no audio, but duh!

i try dummy just with video and it freezes, so my snd card driver are up to date..now also tried sept 8th build but no luck

yes i can close vlc, and open another video and play it, i cant stop the current frozen video, but i can use the file menu and such..so vlc itself itsnt reallt frozen just the video & doesnt matter what i play even iso formats do the same..thank you!

whole video doesnt matter what format, its jerks, then freezes

I have vlc 0.8.6i and it freezes on video playback on vista, i dont have the issue in xp what could be the probelm

ok i have all codecs installed, and i can play all files expect video files from dl.tv that are divx or any video files from revison3.com that are xvid, but i can play mov or wmv.... from them, actually i'am playing them from a shared pc, the that pc can play them just fine, but i cant use that pc t...

can i force vlc to do the 2front2rear option as it's listed in the audio toolbar, and why doesnt even --mono cmd line dont work anymore???

i didnt install the drivers, since they are beta & half supported on my card, the reason why i was asking to defaulty use the 2 frnt 2 rear or stereo is because i can change it manually like you mentioned, yes i know how to but this it for a htpc, and i cant set it manually like this every time ...
