VLC streaming to Xbox 360?

First off, never done streaming. Ever.

So, how do I stream a file from my computer, to my Xbox 360?

Notes: I am on a Mac. 10.9

The Xbox is using the internet via an Ethernet cord. Not sure if that would affect anything.

They use the same internet router/connection.

Re: No sound a brief moment after resuming?

VLC is saying that 2.1.1 is the up to date version.

I'll go check the main downloading site.

EDIT: It says 2.1.1 there too.
