Re: Blu-Ray not working

Did you do the "open disc" option? Oh, and you have to make sure to not have the option selected for the menu at the same screen where you choose that you want to view blu-ray.

Re: 2.1.1 Appcrash on Windows 7

If I post on a forum in the middle of a forest and a tree falls on it, does it make a sound?

Re: 2.1.1 Appcrash on Windows 7

As an update, I only get this crash when I play original blu ray media. It appears to play mkv files fine.

Re: VLC codec c2mp\traymenu.exe startup ?

Is it that I'm just new here, or is someone with 1 post arguing with a developer about the contents of the original code after downloading off cnet vs videolan.org itself? Could it be that downloading straight from videolan.org possibly will get you the program in a package as intended by the develo...

Re: 2.1.1 Appcrash on Windows 7

Well, vlc-2.2.0-git-20131121-0403-win64 doesn't crash on me, so I guess maybe this is the fix for me. Not sure what the difference is, but if I'm working, I guess that's good enough for me.

Re: Blu-Ray not working

I'm far from the best resource to be responding since I have yet to successfully use vlc, but I believe I at least made it one step further than you. Instead of opening the actual files, try opening the entire disc (there is an option for open disc). Mines takes a while to queue up, like 15-30 secon...

Re: 2.1.1 Appcrash on Windows 7

My issue is fairly consistent. Same disc crashes vlc in the same spot; 55 seconds into it on the dot. The other versions give the same crash but immediately when I try to open the disc. Any suggestions?

2.1.1 Appcrash on Windows 7

I've installed 2.1.1 on my Asus G75 running Windows 7 Ultimate, fairly clean build with only 4 apps installed. Tried the 64-bit version first, followed the steps here https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=106570 and tried Game of Thrones Blu Ray from original brand new media. It played...
